We support our clients in making their businesses more viable and inclusive by including people at the Base of the Pyramid as consumers, producers and entrepreneurs in the supply chain. Bopinc works with a wide variety of start-ups, SMEs and multinational companies to achieve this. Over the past ten years we have worked with more than 1,000 companies, reaching more than 5 million low-income consumers, while creating better income opportunities for over 120,000 low-income entrepreneurs.

The Role
As Senior Inclusive Business Innovator your primary role is to lead and ensure high-quality delivery of large programs, provide strategic advisory to companies on inclusive business and drive business development for key accounts. You will also coach and mentor colleagues and contribute to internal learning and innovation through knowledge sharing sessions.

Responsibilities
Project Management- Lead and ensure quality delivery of large scale programs (approximately 1-10M USD budgets), including managing project strategy and workplan, teams and implementing partners, donor communications and reporting, monitoring, learning and evaluation, project budget, communications and risk.
Business advisory - Provide strategic business advisory to companies, ranging from small and medium-sized enterprises (SME’s) to multinationals, and social enterprises on topics such as product/service innovation, go-to-market strategies, business model development, investment readiness.
Partnerships and project development - Manage large client accounts, design new projects, write proposals and pitch new opportunities, build new partnerships by representing Bopinc at conferences and networking events.
Coaching - Coach colleagues fostering their growth and development and conduct performance reviews
Internal learning - Contribute to Bopinc's global internal knowledge sharing & learning processes.

Qualifications
Bachelor or (preferably) Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Innovation or a related field;
At least 10 years relevant experience working with start-ups, scale-ups, and/or corporates in emerging markets as a consultant, entrepreneur or manager with a focus on inclusive business, reaching low-income customers, marketing and distribution, business modelling and/or digital innovation. Gender inclusive advisory experience is a plus;
Experience supporting social-impact oriented companies to access finance;
Demonstrated track record successfully managing large programs (at least 1M+ USD budget), funded by international donors;
Demonstrated track record of leading business development efforts and securing new business opportunities (1M+ EUR programmes);
Excellent communication in English, both written and verbal, able to build trust and influence senior-level clients leadership and manage complex stakeholder dynamics (including BoP communities, NGOs, governments);
Strong leadership and team management skills, including mentoring and coaching project managers and team members;
Ability and willingness to travel to strategic markets in Africa and Asia.
